The Story

ACMUA is being recognized for its outstanding engineering excellence in addressing PFCs in the public water supply. Mr. Michael Armstrong, Executive Director of the ACMUA (on the right), along with Mr. James Roberts and Ms. Stephanie DeCotiis of H2M architects + engineers, received this high honor and national recognition for the work on the Emergency PCF Treatment at the ACMUA.

Lead-up:

In 2019, new State regulations concerning PFCs were implemented, with sampling beginning the first quarter of 2021. The ACMUA was tasked with bringing their water into compliance by the end of that year. To ensure overall conformity regarding the new State rules and regulations, the ACMUA consulted with H2M architects + engineers to guide them on how to achieve compliance.
