Water Conservation Tips

Water Conservation Facts & Tips

Conserve: despite what some may believe, every drop makes a difference!!

One of the most precious resources found in our environment is water. This doesn't appear to be a known fact by many based on the evidence of obvious abuse and waste of this valuable resource.

Over the years, our water supply has declined substantially due to increasing populations and droughts. This has caused degradation to our natural habitat and has and will continue to negatively impact our every day lives if we do not pay closer attention to how we use and waste water. Our survival is directly linked to the supply of water; we must therefore bridge the gap that will enable us to ensure adequate supply of clean and safe water for many years to come. To help accomplish this goal, we should incorporate water conservation tips into our every day lives.

Listed below are some very simple tips that can be placed into action both inside and outside of our homes. These tips will not only save the supply of source water, but can also impact your wallet in a positive way by saving you money from reducing your water bill:

About ACMUA's Water

Over the years, we have dedicated ourselves to producing drinking water that meets or does better than all state and federal drinking water standards. As regulations and drinking water standards change, it is our commitment to you to incorporate these changes system-wide in an expeditious and cost effective manner.

The Atlantic City Municipal Utilities Authority (ACMUA) is once again proud to present our annual water quality report. This edition covers all testing completed from January through December 2019. We are pleased to tell you that our compliance with all state and federal drinking water laws remains exemplary. As in the past, we are committed to delivering the best quality drinking water. To that end, we remain vigilant in meeting the challenges of source water protection, water conservation, and community education while continuing to serve the needs of all of our water users. We continually strive to adopt new and better methods of delivering the best quality drinking water. As regulations and drinking water standards change, it's our obligation to you to incorporate these changes system-wide in an expeditious and cost effective manner.
