The Peregrine Falcons
The Atlantic City Municipal Utilities Authority (ACMUA) has been home to a family of Peregrine Falcons for a number of years. The predator birds nest on top of the (MUA's ) water tanks on Virginia Avenue.
Exciting News! On May 30, 2023 a representative from the NJ Fish and Wildlife Endangered & Nongame Species Program visited the nest to band two chicks. The chicks look good, and could be taking their first flight in about two weeks. For more pictures visit and like our Facebook page.
